Tulsa, OK - Nov 07, 2013 A Tulsa man was sentenced to 17 years in prison this week for trafficking young girls for sex. Federal prosecutors announced 24-year-old Tarran Arnel Brinson would serve the sentence for his part in recruiting and using teenage girls to engage in commercial sex acts. He was convicted in May on conspiracy, sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Tarran Brinson “Child sex trafficking is one of the most heinous crimes,” U.S. Attorney Danny Williams stated. “We are diligently working with our law enforcement partners to bring those who exploit minors to justice. We must protect the most vulnerable among us, our children.” said U.S. Attorney Williams. According to the release, Brinson recruited the girls through Facebook for his reported business. One victim was 14-years-old when Brinson approached her.
